Acceptance. By visiting, using, or viewing Options Band (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Publisher status — Investment Advisers Act Section 202(a)(11). Options Band is a publisher of impersonal, bona fide financial news, data, and commentary of general and regular circulation. The Site and its operators rely on the publisher's exclusion in Section 202(a)(11)(D) of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Nothing on the Site is individualized advice: content is not tailored to, and does not address, the investment objectives, financial situation, or particular needs of any specific person. Options Band is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and no content on the Site should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, option, or other instrument, or to enter any options strategy.
No advice; no suitability. Nothing on the Site is intended to be investment advice, nor does it represent the opinion of, counsel from, or recommendations by Options Band or any of its affiliates, operators, or partners. None of the information contained herein constitutes a recommendation that any particular security, option, portfolio, transaction, or investment strategy is suitable for any specific person. Options involve substantial risk and are not suitable for every investor; before considering options, read Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options.
Limitation of liability. All viewers agree that under no circumstances will Options Band, its operators, partners, officers, employees, affiliates, or agents be held liable for any loss or damage caused by reliance on information obtained on the Site.
Data; models. Options-market data is Cboe delayed data and equity data is delayed vendor data — indicative, not tradable prices. Expected moves, probabilities and volatility metrics are model-derived estimates with stated assumptions (see Methodology); they are not predictions, and outcomes regularly fall outside estimated ranges. Data may be incomplete, delayed, or revised by its sources; verify against primary sources before acting. Providers are identified on Data Sources.
Acceptable use — no bulk extraction. Site content and the Site's databases are provided for personal, informational use. Except as expressly permitted in writing, you may not: engage in bulk automated extraction or scraping of the Site; systematically download, copy, or reproduce substantial portions of its pages, data, or databases; reconstruct its datasets or derived metrics for a competing product; republish its content commercially; circumvent rate limits or other technical access controls; or use automated systems (including AI agents) to reproduce substantial portions of the Site's proprietary content. A free read-only JSON API is provided for reasonable programmatic access within its stated limits. Headlines link to their original publishers; their content belongs to them.
